Life circumstances and our own internal stressors can sometimes seem overwhelming. Therapy can offer a safe place to process and reframe events in our lives that may be causing stress and discomfort. My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive and strengths-based approach in working with clients. I believe that individuals already have it within themselves to heal and just need the support and encouragement to begin the process. I see the therapeutic environment as an opportunity to collaborate on new ways of thinking to be able to enjoy a more balanced and purposeful life.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, women and families to help restore balance in their lives while providing the foundation to facilitate growth and change. My experience includes helping children and adolescents overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, family or peer issues and other emotional and behavioral issues.
I use a variety of techniques to best meet the needs of my clients to include cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused, play therapy and expressive therapies.
