I have been practicing therapy for over 20 years working with children, families, and adults with a range of mental health concerns. I believe that attaining goals are achieved in a therapeutic relationship where the client feels empowered to make changes. I am rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems therapy. When working with children, parents are an integral part of the therapy process. I provide tools to manage symptoms; many clients state that they feel the benefit of therapy within the first few sessions.
I especially enjoy working with anxiety disorders which include but is not limited to: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Specific Phobias, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In addition to my private practice I am trained as a Guardian Ad Litem and provide custody evaluations for the Family and Probate Courts in Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, and Worcester County.
