Life presents many challenges that can hinder one’s ability to achieve a state of mental well-being. People often come to therapy because they are experiencing painful emotions, circumstances, or thought/behavioral patterns that are blocking their inner wisdom and unique path to happiness. It's my goal to create a non-judgmental and welcoming space to work collaboratively with you to help heal past wounds, increase self awareness, improve coping skills, and uncover strengths and resources that will enable you to move toward your personal vision of health. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples.
I am passionate about treating couples, symptoms stemming from trauma/abuse, and relationship and family of origin issues. Additionally, I have a special interest in working with pregnancy/postpartum, as well as parenting children with special needs. I am also trained in EMDR and find it very effective in resolving deep-seated/more complicated problems.
