Groups
Holding Motherhood

Lifelong friends and mothers created this experiential and inclusive space to explore the parts of motherhood that are rarely embraced or even acknowledged. This is not a “how-to”, rather this group is more about showing up as you are. It is about sharing your humanity as we connect around our needs, hopes, frustrations, blind spots, biases, and joys. It is about self-compassion and empowerment, about listening and being heard. If you are intrigued by the idea of a supportive space to explore motherhood and its challenges, please join us!

examining whiteness

examining whiteness is an intimate process/educational group for people who identify as white. We work to confront our whiteness, reckoning with the history of the injurious impact of whiteness on this country. We work to move through shame to grief to clarity, finding ways to come together in collective action in the spirit of equity and for the love of justice. We intend for white people who participate in this process to feel better prepared to collaborate in multiracial spaces with humility toward de-centering whiteness and with confidence to speak toward innovative ways of envisioning the future alongside our Black and brown family.
