I bring to it compassion, 23 years of experience, and extensive skills in working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, and family dynamics. I believe managing life's challenges and transitions is most effective through helping clients utilize their own inner strengths and resources to change their thinking and behaviors. Through the pandemic, I came to believe that working virtually provides a variety of therapeutic advantages such as allowing the client to participate from his or her own comfortable space and without geographic limitations.
I am a devoted mother and spend my spare time playing tennis, hiking, traveling, walking my dog, Daisy, and watching basketball with family and friends. My experience growing up in a large family, my own faith and a positive nature have all shaped my approach to therapy and my appreciation for the opportunity to work with others.
I have an enormous respect for all who seek out help. It is my hope that every person who reaches out will feel comfortable to be able to address issues which results in positive changes.
