Grief, illness, major life changes, and caretaking for a loved one can result in worry, sleep issues, irritability and anxiety. Please know it is normal to feel overwhelmed when you or your loved one is struggling with a major life change. I work with individuals of all ages, including very young children, to help them to gain skills to cope with stress. I work within a client's abilities, and pride myself on learning about a client's culture, dreams, and physical and mental abilities to ensure they feel they are progressing towards their goals at a pace that works for them.
My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and client-centered. I take an ecological view of each individual, meaning I look at the many environments that influence your life—home, school, work, and community. I believe in the power of relationships, inner resilience, and social support to drive meaningful change.
I find joy in providing a warm, nonjudgemental space for you or your child. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncertain or overwhelming. I’m here to offer support, clarity, and a safe space where you can feel heard and understood.
