My clinical focus is improving interpersonal relationships for individuals, couples and families. I work collaboratively, in a private practice setting, valuing safety and the therapeutic relationship to create change together. In addition, I have experience with trauma related, behavioral, and anxiety disorders in early childhood and adolescence. I use a variety of evidence-based practices, including EMDR, to address behavioral, cognitive, and emotional issues, while working eclectically to best meet the needs identified by my clients.
My life mission statement: Helping people realize their potential for change, growth, and individual value to society in every stage of life.
I do not take insurance as filing requires assigning a client a diagnosis which may become part of one's permanent medical record. In addition, many issues do not meet criteria for the DSM5. I work with an honor system in regards to what one can pay. I am happy to work within your budget. Many clients find even one session to be effective.
