Symptoms from trauma, anxiety, pregnancy, and parenting can be painful. You may have trouble connecting and feeling understood, or feel like “too much.” Healing occurs when there is safety and trust. My goal for our sessions is to connect compassionately to you, so that you can connect with yourself, your emotions, and others. I specialize in working with trauma in adults and adolescents, pregnancy, parenting, and anxiety. My therapeutic style is integrative; I will work with you to find an approach that helps move toward recognizing, understanding, and managing your emotions, and your emotions’ connection to the past and present.
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR. In my work, I bear in mind the impact of childhood experiences, systemic oppression, and the intersectional nature of identities. I strive to affirm all identities.
