About
I have had many years experience dealing with individuals coping with anxiety, depression, life adjustment changes, chronic illness, death of loved ones, anger, workplace conflicts, and gay, lesbian transgender issues . I am comfortable with couple counseling. I prefer working with people 17 years of age and upwards.
I have worked 32 years for the Cancer Support Community. Being diagnosed with a life changing disease, it becomes important to teach clients to become empowered to make good choices and to become active in their treatment. I carefully apply those same principals when working in my private practice setting.
I like to teach solution focused techniques for current problems, which includes homework, reading, changing behaviors, practice.
