About
Have you been searching for a therapist for yourself of your family member and feel unsure where to start? Finding the right fit in a therapist can be challenging and quite daunting. I make this process as comfortable and stress free for new patients. I specialize in adolescents and adults, treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life stressors, and relationship issues. When it comes down to what works I strongly believe the close bond between therapist and patient is what aids in the healing process. Despite similarities in diagnosis symptoms, all individuals are unique. So a personalized approach is key.
I am trained in cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and acceptance commitment therapy. I utilize an eclectic approach tailoring to ones personal needs, and usually use a combination of modalities. I go beyond the medical model, and try to help you uncover the deep personal wounds that are ailing you.
Together we can help you figure out how to get to your optimal functioning. Reaching out is the first step, and you have already gotten this far, so feel proud of yourself for taking that action. You deserve to gain control of your life and finally feel happy again. New clients please text or call (516)302-7719. response time is max 48 hours.
