I am Anne Lepard. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety and trauma. My approach to therapy is based on building a relationship with my clients. I work together with my clients to help them gain the tools they need to overcome the difficulties they are experiencing.
I often use cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive processing therapy. These therapies are both based on the belief that our thoughts, feelings and actions are connected. When we become more aware of what we're thinking we can work to change our thoughts which will allow our feelings to start changing. Our actions will change as well.
My clients should expect to feel heard, understood and respected. They should leave the session knowing that I truly care about them and will work alongside them as we do therapy together.
