If you are a parent who is exhausted, worried, and confused by your child's behavior, I can help you make changes that make a difference. Using current science about how the brain works, I give you the inside story of what's happening when your child is falling apart. When you can see behind the behavior, you can more easily understand what the child needs you to do. You'll learn tools for understanding your child and tools to help improve their connection to you and to themselves. I am a fully licensed counselor in Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas and meet via telehealth, to clients in those states. Available weekdays am or pm
I help you to stop focusing on your child's behavior and instead help you to focus on your child's nervous system in order to support changes. This approach is backed by research and incorporates current relational neuroscience. I use easy to remember examples and illustrations so you can start using the tools and see changes right away.
Helping families, children, and adolescents is my passion. The unique needs of each individual, child, or family starts with the assumption that safety, trust and relationship are the cornerstones to emotional health and happiness..
