In my 25 years of practice, I have evolved a number of specializations:couples therapy; women's issues;dealing with anxiety and depression--including post-partum depression; and facing the challenges of pregnancy loss and infertility. I have had extensive post-graduate training in couples therapy and have developed a lively and effective way of helping couples in distress get "unstuck" and move into a more satisfying and respectful relationship with one another.
In individual therapy and groups, I help women build greater trust in themselves.For many, that trust recedes after a loss, such as divorce, at a time when they most need it. My strength lies in helping women retrieve a sense of themselves and find the vitality to move forward.
In combination with my extensive experience and wide repertoire of clinical skills, I bring to my practice warmth, sensitivity, and a genuine pleasure in working with people. I am easy to talk with, and I have a well-honed capacity to listen and to understand.
