I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your family! I believe all individuals are composed of unique emotions and reactions to these feelings. In counseling, I aim to provide a space for clients to work through each of these emotional experiences, understand them better, and learn new skills for managing them when needed. Therapy is a way to care for ourselves so that we may better face the various challenges of life, both expected and unexpected, with a stronger sense of self. My goal as a counselor is to walk alongside my clients with compassion and sincerity.
I approach counseling empathetically and with a strengths-based mindset. While I aim to utilize several different evidence-based practices including, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, etc. I also understand that each individual’s experiences are unique.
I work to ensure a collaborative, therapeutic environment where goals are set in accordance with the individual’s hopes and needs. My goal as a counselor is to walk alongside my clients with compassion and sincerity as they learn more about themselves and their relationships with family, friends, and their community.
