I am a warm and direct psychologist. For over 20 years I've had the privilege of helping people with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, life transitions, issues related to gender and sexuality, relationships and many other things. My approach is mainly psychoanalytic which means that my focus is on understanding you as a completely unique person. I work collaboratively with you to make changes that will work in your life, and also to address the deeper issues underlying symptoms and create lasting change.
I enjoy helping people feel better, forge better and more intimate relationships, form a stronger sense of self, and grow and change on their own terms. Therapy can also allow a greater liveliness, increased confidence, and improved awareness of what you feel, what you think and why.
