About
As a counselor, I focus on modeling healthy communication and supportive behaviors to address the challenges that individuals face. I help parents to assist with restructuring their communication so that their children can feel heard, respected, and have their ideas validated. Additionally, I continue to support couples in communicating their needs as they develop mutually supportive behaviors together. Another area of focus I enjoy is assisting members of the L.G.B.T.Q community with their specific needs. I work hard to eliminate cultural biases and aid every client's concerns based on their personal goals.
I enjoy getting adolescents talking through art, walks, and movement. I work hard to validate their concerns while building our relationship with one another. At the same time, I assist them in taking accountability through improved perspective-taking, increased listening, and improved empathy and understanding so that they can feel more empowered as people.
The initial twenty-minute session is free! This provides the perfect opportunity to see if you would like to set up further appointments and begin to work on your areas of concern. If traditional in-person or virtual sessions do not interest you, inquire about our outdoor walks which provide a fresh environment for your therapeutic session.
