I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life changes, and relationship issues. My work focuses on guiding people through battles with self-criticism and doubt toward a place of greater acceptance and peace.
Although I see men and women, I have specialized training in women's health, pregnancy and postpartum issues, and women recovering from traumatic events. I run a postpartum support group, see clients individually, and lead mindfulness-based groups for anxiety and trauma. My background is in clinical psychology and use a combination of therapy techniques.
I am a mental health therapist and yoga teacher. With some clients, I bring yoga skills and theory into therapy such as mindfulness, breathing, and meditation to help clients learn to cope with stress, feel more comfortable in their bodies, and calm overactive nervous systems.
