Psychotherapy is a collaboration between therapist and client. It makes use of the strengths, resources and goals of the client and the supportive attunement, non-judgmental perspective, training and experience of the therapist. Many of my clients come to me because they want to incorporate mindfulness and somatic therapies with talk therapy in order to work more effectively with anxiety, depression, pain and other challenges in which the body is implicated.
My unique approach draws on psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and somatic therapy. I am certified and experienced in all three modalities and combine treatments and practices to help clients achieve their goals. My style is open-minded, warm and direct. I appreciate the full spectrum of human diversity.
I offer individual and couples therapy for adults. I work with you to help you achieve balance, purpose and meaning in your life, improve your relationships, and facilitate healing and growth in areas that are important to you.
