Ever since I can remember, I have always had a passion for helping people. Through my Abnormal Psychology class in undergraduate school I learned about counseling and instantly fell in love with it. I have seen the benefits of therapy first hand and believe that therapy is such a valuable tool. I have worked with many different populations from as young as 5 years old to as old as 80 years old. I had different internship opportunities in inpatient facilities, IOPs, and nonprofits. I also have experience working with sexual assault survivors.
I enjoy working with clients aged 12 and up that struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and emotional regulation. I'm open to working with you on what you think will improve your quality of life and overall wellness.
All of my client's are different so I use different interventions to meet their needs. As a therapist I want my client to feel that they can vocalize their goals and what they want to work on in our sessions together. It's important to me that my clients feel safe, heard, and seen while we work together.
