I have 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples struggling with relationship problems, depression, anxiety, and parenting concerns. I also offer EMDR to clients dealing with past trauma. I work in a supportive and active style to provide both concrete tools for change as well as the necessary exploration of deeper issues which facilitate that change.
As a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, I use research-based, proven models of therapy to help couples understand the underlying emotional needs that often go unmet in a troubled relationship. I help couples regain closeness and improve communication and intimacy so that both partners feel loved and understood.
My training in couples therapy makes my work with individuals even more effective because relationships are so central to feelings of depression, anxiety, and self worth. I provide a supportive and confidential space for you to understand your problems, heal from old traumas, and make the life changes you desire.
