I specialize in working with tweens and teens, and I also work well with parents, young adults and established adults to provide support for navigating the many life and developmental challenges facing people today. My experience includes college-level teaching, research, and counseling experience in many settings, including family homes, schools and community mental health clinics. I work to create a comfortable, informative and supportive setting, in which you can gain clarity, understanding and confidence in how you want to manage the issues you face in your life.
I use a mindful and positive approach to highlight your already-existing skills and strengths, develop new skills and strengths if needed, and to harness these strengths to be of benefit to you and others. I can increase your understanding of how you wish to manage depression, anxiety, family conflict, developmental transitions, trauma or other challenges.

We can engage in brief, short-term consultations/counseling, meant to quickly identify effective actions you can take to make satisfying changes.
