Many couples and families I work with feel stuck; caught in the same arguments or a silence that feels just as heavy. These patterns often stem from daily stress or long-standing inter-generational family dynamics. My role is to help you slow down, notice what’s happening, and begin to shift those patterns toward deeper connection. I bring a calm, soft-spoken presence to therapy, creating space for honesty, reflection, and change at a pace that feels safe. I pay attention not just to words, but also to pauses, tension, and the deeper stories that shape how we relate.
Born and raised in Jamaica, my cultural roots shape how I show up—with humor, warmth, and a belief in community and your resilience. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a PhD in Immunology. While it may seem unrelated, it taught me to notice subtle patterns, think critically, and sit with uncertainty — all of which inform my clinical work.
I work with couples and families longing for closeness but weighed down by conflict or distance. I believe healing happens when everyone in the room feels safe enough to show up, and I’m here to support that process with care and curiosity.
