Welcome! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with 17 years of clinical practice. I am currently taking on new clients at my new Summerville location. I have experience helping clients who have endured significant trauma. I work with PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use disorders, family/relationship issues, infidelity, chronic pain, self-esteem, life transition and enjoy helping the helpers. In addition, I have intensive training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, MI, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Prior to opening Authentic Living and Wellness LLC, I was a director of a domestic violence and sexual assault program. I have an extensive background working with individuals experiencing coercive control, financial abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, physical abuse and/or sexual abuse. I build trust through being compassionate and nonjudgmental.
I would love to walk alongside you (figuratively or literally). You are in a safe place with a safe person. A place without judgement where you can fully discover and be yourself. I provide customized and tailored services to meet each individual client’s needs. In efforts to meet those needs, I offer in-person sessions, virtual, and walk and talk sessions.
