The decision to come to therapy is personal and takes both vulnerability and courage. As we work to create a life of meaning and purpose, we face anxiety, uncertainty, and other life stressors along our way. Therapy can be a turning point to help redirect you down a path of your choosing and help you gain a sense of control over your life and emotional well being. As a therapist I work to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment free space for client’s to begin their journey to healing and self-exploration. Specialties include mood disorders, trauma, and chronic pain.
I use a Person Centered, Psychodynamic approach to help facilitate change & growth through increased insight into the impact of past experiences & beliefs on present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I incorporate CBT, ACT, & Mindfulness approaches tailored to your treatment goals and values. I am trained in EMDR and CPT, both used to treat trauma and PTSD.
I also run a chronic pain group that provides support and pain management techniques to help assist clients in finding their “new normal” as they navigate life with chronic pain. I am honored to be invited into the lives of my clients as they work to reach their full potential and find pathways to living meaningful and purposeful lives.
