I’m certified in loving people. Truthfully, that is all I wanted to write here - but it probably wouldn’t get me very far so I have to give a description of what therapy may be like with me. Here I go … I specialize in the treatment of traumatic stress and mental illness. I can teach you how to regulate your nervous system, give you various coping skills, help you navigate messy relationships, and hold space for difficult and painful emotions. I am trained in trauma informed care and certified in EMDR. I have a down to earth approach to therapy- sorrow, anger, laughter, and joy are all welcome on our path. I love to laugh - a lot!
Now that all of that is out of the way – I still trust that above all, it is loving, connected relationships that are greatest agents to transforming the human spirit because we are truly not meant to walk this earth alone. Through mutuality and togetherness we will dive deep into the waters together (I am all for out of the box therapy)!
