When you are ready to make changes to your life, you need a welcoming place to go. I believe an effective therapeutic relationship starts with exactly that, safety and transparency. I encourage my clients to explore their past traumas, share negative thoughts or mindfully identify physical symptoms that are impacting areas of their life with the idea that nothing is too big or too small. I will help support you by listening empathically, help in finding your voice or building your true self. You are free to share whatever you are feeling, so you may then reach the goals we have set out to conquer with your strength and my support!
I use a strength-based, client-centered, trauma-focused therapy approach, using unconditional positive regard, to process issues such as relationships, attachments, communication, self-esteem/self-worth, depression and anxiety. You will be seen and heard during our work together, as well as encouraged to process traumas or develop healthy coping strategies.
I have experience working with a variety of individuals including adolescents, Queer/LGBTQIA+ community, Asian American, immigrants with BIPOC or trauma history. Whatever physical or emotional pain you are experiencing, I recognize it and I encourage you to reach out if you need a safe place to go because I believe our pain does not have to define ourselves.
