For over 30 years as psychotherapist I help clients understand the psychological dynamics underlying problems and difficulties. Whether through in-depth individual analysis or counseling for marriage, divorce or family issues, clients gain awareness and deeper understanding of the source and purpose of their feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
I provide education and intervention for depression, anxiety and various behavioral disruptions such as relational/marital conflict, emotional upheavals, deterioration in everyday functioning, disordered eating, unwanted impulses, anger, etc. For couples I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method for resolving conflict and advancing friendship and intimacy.
I treat couples, individuals, and family. You, the client, gain awareness and understanding of various conditions with useful guidance to manage, cope, improve - better equipped and strengthened as needed for yourself and others.
