Mornings might feel like a rush before the day even begins. You’re trying to get out the door when suddenly your child becomes overwhelmed, shuts down, or reacts in ways that don’t make sense. What should be a simple moment turns into stress, frustration, or a power struggle. At the same time, you feel your own reactions rising, snapping, shutting down, or questioning if you handled it wrong. Later, you replay it, wondering what you could have done differently. You’ve tried strategies or advice, but nothing seems to fully stick. You’re doing everything you can, yet it still feels like something deeper is driving these patterns.

In our work together, we slow things down and make sense of what’s underneath these moments. I use attachment and somatic approaches, integrating play therapy and Transforming Touch-using light touch to help your body settle. Over time, you may find yourself pausing, taking a breath, and staying present with your child in moments that once felt overwhelming.

You don’t have to have it all figured out or know where to start. We can make sense of this together. Parenting can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to feel this hard.
