About
Do you need help with your teen? I help children and adolescents who are struggling in school, social life, or at home. I specialize in working with youth who have ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, OCD, PTSD, behavioral issues and other disorders common among youth. I enjoy utilizing compassion-based practice when engaging in parent work, and strength-based approaches in sessions with children and adolescents. I especially enjoy parent training, which promotes parents to change their own behavior that can then help the child (or adolescent) long-term.
I take a holistic approach to therapy and continuously re-evaluate interventions used. You/your child is unlikely to be bored, as I bring enthusiasm and an authentic stance, as well as often use humor in my sessions.
The first step is often the hardest and requires bravery, vulnerability, motivation, and initiative. I invite you to imagine the possibilities of benefits a small change can bring to your situation. Take a leap of faith and call to set up a time to chat.
