I have most experience working with LGBTQIA+ identity, complex trauma, oppression, disability, and anxiety/depression. I have worked alongside many clients who have experienced neglect, abuse and rejection within their family of origin. I am here to help untangle the intricate web of symptoms and reactions that complex trauma creates. I provide tools to support you in finding meaningful ways to connect with yourself and others as you bravely step forward in your journey. I embrace integrating your personal belief systems and healing practices into our work. I have additional training in ERP for OCD and EMDR/Flash for trauma.
I believe deeply in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Toxic shame thrives in isolation and silence. I am here to meet, listen to, and hold compassion for all parts of you. I will always strive to show up for you with authenticity, compassion, warmth, and intentionality in our work together.
I am a queer and non-binary person living with multiple disabilities. My therapy style is informed by social justice principles and anti-oppressive frameworks. I am invested in naming and addressing the ways that racism, ableism, queerphobia, transphobia, fatphobia, classism, xenophobia, sexism, and other systems of oppression impact mental health.
