My passion is to help you improve your ability to overcome emotional wounds and trauma in order to cultivate an embodied feeling of compassion, curiosity, clarity, creativity, calm, confidence, courage, and connectedness with yourself and others. I enjoy working with individuals that are seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves in order to change pervasive patterns of thinking (about yourself and others), feeling, and decision making.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches. I use cognitive approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for skill training. I also use embodied approaches such as Polyvagal Therapy and Internal Family Systems that help you understand the impact experiences have had on your body and your sense of safety.
I look forward to being a part of your story and help you learn that change is possible.
