I have a passion for counseling individuals with diverse areas of concerns. Areas that I focus on include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, self image, body image, major life transitions, stress, grief and loss, career counseling, and finding purpose and meaning in life. I believe that counseling is a process that is actively engaged in by both the counselor and the client. I am dedicated to doing what I can to assist my clients in working through their individual or interpersonal concerns.
I employ integrative humanistic - existential based counseling in my practice. Yet, I recognize that all people are unique and strive to integrate evidence-based treatment approaches as I see fit to each client. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and tailor therapy to their needs.
I received a B.A. degree at Seattle Pacific University in 2011. I spent several years conducting research on cognition, memory, self-regulation, cancer survivors, and individuals with HIV. I completed my graduate education at Central Washington University and received a M.S. degree in mental health counseling in 2017.
