Update: Greetings! I'm in the process of getting my mental health prescriptive privileges as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 2 semesters left, as I am already a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider and a Family Nurse Practitioner. It just made sense to do the 4 semester connector. I'm finally just now able to accept new cients and wanted to update my status because I know my specialty is difficult to find and there are so many people suffering behind the closed door of their homes. I am a specialist in covert narcissistic abuse and psychological indoctrination via trauma bonds much like Stockholm Syndrome. I have had so many clients with this very issue that I've had to niche down to taking clients and couples who have been or are now experiencing NA. Unfortunately, I can't take couples where one or both partners are suspect N traits.
Btwn not taking ins. and only being available online this year, your decision will be about what's most important to you. The NA work is a specialty, it involves sessions every 2-3 weeks, 50% of the work is done outside of session, and it is not easy! But its evidence- based, and it's curative! Are you willing?! If so, no time like the present to heal!
