I am passionate about helping couples create deeper connection than they ever knew possible. I also enjoy working with individuals in all stages of life. My favorite moments are when a client says, "This is new." Many enter counseling feeling stuck in old patterns, and new experiences provide hope for healing. My practice is currently full for regular weekly clients. However, I specialize in 3-day weekend intensives with couples and I take on 1-2 new couples (from in- or out-of-state) per month for this work. Follow up work is required after the 3 days in order to continue momentum and create lasting change.
EFT has three crucial components: experience (the here and now), attachment (bonding science) and emotion (the ugly and the beautiful). As an EFT therapist, I know these things are significant and am trained to weave them together to promote lasting change. I use EFT to treat relational disconnection and crisis, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
I believe acceptance and connection are key pieces in the healing process, and feel honored to learn and be a part of someone’s unique story. I view myself as a guide, a partner, and a nurturer in the counseling relationship, and I offer space and support for couples and individuals to explore and work through hard places.
