Hi, I'm Dr. Anna Laurie. I'm a Clinical Psychologist with twenty years of experience in the mental health field. My work focuses primarily on adults who are experiencing anxiety and depression, often in the context of stressful life problems. My goal is to help them get their lives back on track. I strive to create an environment for my clients where they feel safe and supported. I believe mental health therapy is some of the best, bravest work we as humans can do but it isn't always easy. It takes work, and it takes courage.
What sets my practice apart is a focus on skills building. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help people identify tools of the most benefit to them. These skills or tools can be used in the first session and then used for a lifetime.
It is of primary importance to me that you are always moving forward to reach your therapy goals. You will receive a personalized treatment plan that will contain your goals and list the steps we will take to get you there.
