Hello! I am glad you are here. Beginning counseling is brave and scary, but I am here as your guide. I work with adulst age 18+ who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I use EMDR, talk therapy, DBT, and CBT techniques to help heal wounds. I am structured and therapy will be hard; however, I am flexible, patient, and work at your pace.
I am trained through EMDRIA in level 1 and 2 of EMDR (Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization) which allows the trauma to go from the stuck part of the brain to the part of the brain that processes numbers to help promote healing. I also use mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and if desired, spiritual integration.
