About
I have been working alongside people on their path to healing for almost ten years, and I have found that by meeting people exactly where they are at and for who they truly are, the healing can be both rewarding and groundbreaking. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in social work from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am a US Army combat veteran and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I am a trauma-informed, patient-centered therapist, trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, and I also utilize trauma-centered and mindfulness approaches.
I have worked with individuals from very diverse backgrounds, abilities, orientations, cultures, and personal beliefs, and each person's life experiences are a part of their healing process. While working with me, the goals that you want to work on will be at the center of our time together.
You bring the need, and I'll supply the tools that can empower you to find what it is that you are looking for in your life. Unconditional acceptance was shown to me, which allowed me to find my own voice and strength in a world that just is.
