As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe that mental health is just as vital as physical health in leading a fulfilling and balanced life. With extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence and their children, I provide case management and a safe space to process their experiences. Additionally, I work closely with young children and their caregivers to help them navigate traumatic events and address missed developmental milestones, engaging children and their caregivers.
I help them identify their emotions and develop strategies to manage uncomfortable feelings. My trauma-informed, evidence-based training incorporates CBT and attachment-focused approaches like Theraplay and Play Therapy to effectively meet clients' therapeutic goals, in addition to the Somatic Experince modality connecting body and emotions.
