I bring a humorous, creative, curious and open-minded approach to helping you progress through life's challenges. My approach to mental health treatment is collaborative and neurophysiologically (neurologically and physically) informed. I am trained in and use evidence-based treatment modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Relational Life Therapy, and mindfulness to shift and modify cognitions, physiological reactions, emotions, and help clients get "unstuck."
Many clients end up with me after years of trying talk therapy and reporting no results or feeling that they are “failing” to get better. I am certified/trained as a Somatic Experiencing Provider (SEP) and use somatic techniques to assist clients in shifting psychological, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological responses that are no longer helpful.
