About
I am a Master’s level counselor working towards full licensure as a professional counselor (LPC-MHSP). I enjoy working with a diverse clientelle, from counseling children and adolescents to individuals entering adulthood and beyond. I am a person-centered therapist who believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship. During our session, I will aim to create a safe and trusting environment in order for you to explore your potential for growth, and foster self-acceptance. I enjoy utilizing Child-centered play therapy with my clients' ages 10 and younger, and believe that play is a child's best form of communication.
I also enjoy incorporating techniques from other theories such as Narrative Therapy, Feminist theory therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy when needed. I have training in Child-Centered Play therapy, Telehealth therapy, and a certificate in Grief, Loss and Trauma.
I am a pre-licensed counselor at Life Connections Counseling Services. I completed my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling at the University of Tennessee. I am currently working towards full licensure in the state of Tennessee (LPC-MHSP). I have a certificate in counseling individuals through grief and loss.
