I work primarily with adult individuals on issues related to OCD and anxiety. Do you have intrusive, unwanted thoughts, images, or sensations that are causing anxiety or other challenges in your life? They could be focused on health issues, other forms of harm to self or others, fears around identity and authenticity, social or other phobias, or simply feelings of things not being "just right." You might be distressed by taboo sexual thoughts or consumed with fears of contamination or disease. The possibilities are endless! But your suffering doesn't have to be.
I specialize in working with OCD, phobias, health anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, hoarding, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (skin-picking or hair-pulling). I will work collaboratively with you to identify the ways in which these issues are impacting your life and help you design a structured plan to change the behaviors that maintain them.
I know how these issues can slowly take over your life–preventing you from engaging fully in the activities and relationships you care most about and trapping you in a vicious cycle of overwhelming thoughts and repeated efforts to try to quell them. I'm truly passionate about helping others out of this trap and back into their lives.
