The foundation of my practice as a therapist is partnering with you in a safe and compassionate space to explore struggle and pain, create healing and growth, and build a path that is the life you want. Sometimes this means digging into core beliefs and old experiences, and it also entails learning how to live your life in the present moment with vitality. I work with anxiety disorders, including health anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder and many other struggles a person could be experiencing.
Some of the approaches that I utilize are acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention, and ICBT. I also use more traditional psychotherapy in processing and healing from deeper emotional wounds, negative core beliefs and shame.
I like to think of courage as "being afraid and doing it anyway". It can be scary and overwhelming to make the first step to reach out for help. Practice courage, take the first steps...your life is yours and you deserve to live it well.
