About
Symptoms of depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, loneliness can be difficult and frightening. Those symptoms can feel so overwhelming that it’s hard to imagine having a “real life” while any of these difficult emotions is present. Knowing that something is missing is the first step. Naming the people and things you want to feel more connected to – friends, a romantic partner, learning, meaningful work – is the beginning of the change. Figuring out how to shift both perspective and actions to better match the life you're living to the life you imagine you can have, is where the change starts to feel real. Because it is.
Using evidenced based practices, mainly from ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) I work from a wellness perspective. In learning about your circumstances, habits and ambitions we can better understand where there is opportunity for behavior change that will move you closer to living a life you value.
With every client, I serve as a partner and collaborator. I am genuinely curious about your search for greater well-being and it is my goal to support you as you learn more about yourself, what you truly want and how best to get there.
