About
People do a lot of things to escape from pain. Some of these things help us to heal, and some work in the moment but create more pain down the line. You’re trying. Often, I’m sure, you do a beautiful job and you’re quite successful. Something’s not right, though. I work with people to move through the pain and into the light of human connection, safety, confidence, and contentment. There will be more pain, but there can be much more joy as its companion.
I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma, PTSD, military trauma, sexual abuse, and neglect. I’m trained in several evidence-based practices including EMDR, CPT, IFS, and EFT/Tapping. Fundamentally, I believe in post-traumatic growth and safety in connection.
