Kids, teens and young adults often have big feelings. My commitment is to provide a safe and accepting environment for them to explore those feelings and help them navigate their way through the tricky areas of their development. Patients will work on developing their own goals and establish the skills and strengths to move forward in their therapeutic work.
Goals may include relieving troubling symptoms, establishing effective coping skills, improving relationships/communication with family and peers, developing problem solving/conflict resolution skills, navigating sexuality and/or gender identity, and gaining a greater sense of awareness that empowers young people to live an authentic and fulfilling life.
If you’re looking for a supportive, non-judgmental, creative, inclusive and gender affirming therapist for your child, or if you are a young adult/college student who needs extra support, contact me. Flat fee for 45 minute session. I do not accept insurance or bill insurance directly, however, out of network insurance reimbursement may be available.
