As an integrative trauma therapist with a nervous system focus, I have specialized training to create a safe experience for clients as we work through even the most activating subject matter. The clients I work with tend to be folks healing from trauma or the longterm effects of chronic stress. Many of my clients are empaths coping with burnout, other healthcare providers, adult children of emotionally immature parents, or survivors of abuse/neglect. Through years of experience with these groups, I have honed my approach as a integrative somatic trauma therapist. If you feel like you've hit a wall with traditional therapy - welcome.
Being an integrative somatic trauma therapist means that I tend to the whole person - mind, body, & spirit - and may incorporate mind-body techniques including parts work or vagus nerve toning into our sessions. Therapy is based on talking, but in my office we also feel, embody, and experience life together to move through the barriers that keep you stuck.
I am also a seasoned ketamine therapist and psychedelic integration therapist. My style has been described as nurturing and warm, and my top consideration is creating at least 1 environment in your life that feels truly safe, physically and emotionally.
