Are you looking for a therapist who is both passionate about their job and who provides well timed sarcasm?Whether due to sexuality preferences/practices, being over/under weight, symptoms of trauma or any other issues that have left you feeling not yourself, I work with you to help you be the person you want to be.I enjoy working with diverse populations and have experience working with clients from different cultures, clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, and the military community. I am interested in helping young adults and teenagers build self-esteem and work through life transitions.I do not take Medicaid managed care/Medicare.
My overall approach to therapy is trauma-informed. I am trained in EMDR, Schema Therapy and am IFS informed. If you just need to talk things out and see where it goes, we can do that too. I believe in helping people find the good in their life, even if it can sometimes be hard to find. I am licensed in NY and ME.
For me, helping others reach their goals so that their lives can be even better is incredibly fulfilling.
