Are you looking for a therapist who is both passionate about their job and who provides well timed sarcasm?Whether due to sexuality preferences/practices, being over/under weight, symptoms of trauma or any other issues that have left you feeling not yourself, I work with you to help you be the person you want to be.I enjoy working with diverse populations and have experience working with clients from different cultures, clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, and the military community. I am interested in helping young adults and teenagers build self-esteem and work through life transitions.I do not take Medicaid managed care/Medicare.

My overall approach to therapy is trauma-informed. I am trained in EMDR, Schema Therapy and am IFS informed. If you just need to talk things out and see where it goes, we can do that too. I believe in helping people find the good in their life, even if it can sometimes be hard to find.

For me, helping others reach their goals so that their lives can be even better is incredibly fulfilling. I am trained in EMDR and use that modality to treat trauma and anxiety. I will be trained by next year in Schema therapy, which helps identify and change maladaptive cognitions from our childhood that affect us negatively as adults. Schema work is a great addition to EMDR therapy. I, also, teach DBT skills to help people better emotionally regulate themselves.
