Welcome! I believe that counseling is a place to develop the skills we need to make meaningful changes in our lives & relationships. I provide a warm, accepting, and nonjudgmental space in which you can learn more about yourself, take risks, and move toward your goals and values. Counseling is an adventure, and I am excited to help you discover your strengths & resources and to build a more fulfilling life.
I work with a variety of people, but I specialize in working with adults who struggle with persistent depression, ADHD, and/or relationship & family difficulties. I have experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including OCD), and trauma & PTSD. I also enjoy working with the unique needs of therapists and other helping professionals.
I focus on using therapies that have a strong research base and I have experience providing cognitive therapy, behavioral activation, exposure-based therapies, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness, values-based, and attachment principles into my therapy.
