I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for supporting individuals through common challenges faced by people as they are working toward acceptance and change. I have experience across the continuum of care and have an expertise in trauma training from a collaborative associated with Duke University. I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to assist individuals in recovering from symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and improving your daily living by reducing depression, anxiety, guilt, and shame.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from UNCG and NCAT’s Joint Master of Social Work Program and completed my LCSW training and credentialing in an acute behavioral health outpatient setting and community mental health agency. I aim to partner with each individual to develop goals and priorities for a better quality of life.
