Hi. My name is Anna Bergin (she/her). I provide counseling to individuals as well as people in relationships (including couples, polycules, and other relationship structures). I work with those experiencing a wide variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, adjusting to life transitions, gender and sexuality exploration, and substance addiction and recovery. I strive to create a space where clients can explore their inner world with curiosity and without judgment.
I approach counseling from a Humanistic/Person-Centered framework. As a queer counselor I am especially passionate about working with members of the LGBT+ community. I am a sex-positive and kink-affirming counselor. I am also a neurodiversity-affirming and disability-affirming counselor.
I aim to help individuals discover themselves and move through the world with confidence. I believe that every individual is uniquely capable, and that my job is to provide support in helping those I work with to achieve positive outcomes. In relationship counseling, I support people in building relationships based in safety, respect, and understanding.
